Miffy and Melanie are wonderfully soft and super nice to hold and cuddle with. They are both holding a moon, in the shape of a sickle cell. The proceeds from the sale of these cuddly toys will go to The Netherlands Sickle Cell Foundation. Miffy is a very active ambassador of the Netherlands Sickle Cell Foundation as she urgently wants more awareness of this disease and wants to help raise funds for the much needed research for its cure. She underlines that: ”Sickle cell disease is too painful to ignore”.
